Unspoiled landscapes, a land rich in hills, mountains and valleys, which is born in the heart of the boot and extends over the central basin of the river Tevere. It is also the region of Lago Trasimeno, the largest lake in Central Italy, in whose territory are still present the remains of Etruscan settlements. Known is the Marmore Falls, considered one of the most beautiful in Europe and a destination for sports lovers of canoeing, kayaking and more. Among the pearls of the region are Assisi and Orvieto, famous for its spectacular Duomo, for palaces, medieval alleys and the mythical Pozzo di San Patrizio.
Perugia, with a large historical center lying on a series of hill hills just a short distance from the Tevere, preserves a medieval appearance and features the characteristics of a commune with flat areas and a multitude of greenery and fields. A city of art rich in history and monuments, founded by the Etruscans, is a cultural center and international tourist destination and campus. Foligno is the richest and most important commercial and industrial center in the Valle Umbra and the main communications center of the whole region.
